MIXING INSTRUCTIONS

The recommended use concentration of Power-Kleen Defoamant “A” is .02% to .05% (2 to 6 ounces per 100 gallons) of the total water volume. For MART Power Washers, heat the water to at least 160ºF. Remove the front cover of Power Washer reservoir. Start the washer cycle. Carefully distribute ½ to 1 cup at a time into the front reservoir of the MART Power Washer until the foaming subsides.  It may be necessary to stop the washer cycle and wait for the foam to reduce before cycling the machine again.  Repeat this process until the foaming subsides. For all other cleaning equipment, add chemical carefully and as instructed by the machine manufacturer. Power Kleen Defoamant “A” is temperature activated and operates at temperatures above 140 degrees F. Below 130 degrees F foam may actually increase. Also, Power Kleen Defoamant “A” will be skimmed off if skimmer is used continuously. For best results skim at temperatures below 130 degrees F.  Instructions can also be found on the Power-Kleen Defoamant “A” label, MTS Website or reference the MART Power Washer Operating Manual for mixing in the washer.
